Labor Day weekend 2009 was bittersweet...it was a rough year for Coney with no Astroland, horrible weather, and the horrible Dreamland attempt (no offense to Geren rides, but plenty to all the other parties involved). I spent all 4 days of the weekend there and thoroughly enjoyed myself with rides, ice cream, tacos, hot dogs, fireworks, playing games and people watching - that is what Coney is REALLY about to me! Hoping for an amazing 2010 season (without Joe Sitt)!
